San Francisco - Summer 2008

Just a few food-related favorites from a recent trip to San Francisco, where I was doing research for my third book.

- peaches and pastries from Frog Hollow (Ferry Building)

- oysters and the best clam chowder ever at Hog Island Oyster Co. (Ferry Building)

- strawberry-balsamic ice cream at the Bi-Rite Creamery

- simple, perfect dinner at the legendary Chez Panisse
